Street Brawl Clothing started with a crash.

We're a UK company, but our story begins in the heat. Our founder, Ben, rode the way a lot of people do in hot climates — helmet on, but skipping the riding pants, jacket and armour. It was just too hot. Protective gear meant sweating through every ride, so most days it stayed at home.

Then came the day it mattered. Ben came off his bike with nothing protecting him but a good helmet and the rucksack on his back. The helmet saved his life. Everything else took the hit — road rash stripped across his arms and shoulder, and a broken bone in his leg that better jeans and proper knee armour would have prevented.

Lying there, the lesson was obvious: the safest gear in the world is useless if it's too hot and uncomfortable to actually wear. People weren't reckless — they were just hot. The gear had failed them long before the road did.

So Ben set out to build the answer. Protective apparel that riders in warm climates would actually choose to put on — not out of obligation, but because it's genuinely comfortable, breathable, and looks good enough to wear anywhere. Gear cool enough that there's no excuse to leave it behind.

Every piece we design starts with the same question: would you wear this if you weren't riding? If the answer is no, we go back to the drawing board. Our riders commute, travel, and live in our gear in some of the hottest conditions out there — it has to work for all of it.
