The Streetbrawl Story: Why We Build Armored Gear That Looks Good

Most motorcycle gear starts from the same place: protection first, everything else second. The result is gear that works on the bike and nowhere else. Bulky jackets, stiff trousers, high-vis vests — effective in a crash, awkward everywhere else.

Streetbrawl started from a different question: what if you didn't have to choose?

The Problem We Set Out to Solve

Motorcycle gear has a compliance problem. Riders know they should wear protective gear. Many of them don't — not because they don't care about safety, but because the gear available to them requires too many compromises. It's too bulky, too hot, too obviously motorcycle gear to wear anywhere other than on the bike.

The result is riders making short trips without gear, leaving jackets at home because they're inconvenient, or wearing gear that's technically protective but practically unwearable for anyone who uses their motorcycle as actual transport.

We built Streetbrawl to close that gap.

What We Build and Why

Every piece of Streetbrawl gear starts with two non-negotiable requirements: independently tested protection and a cut that works off the bike.

CE certification isn't a marketing claim — it's an independently tested standard. Our jeans are CE AAA rated for abrasion resistance, the highest tier available. Our armor is CE Level 2 for impact protection, also the highest tier. We build to those standards and test to verify them.

The second requirement is harder to achieve. Getting certified protection into a garment that looks like regular clothing requires better materials, more considered construction, and a willingness to reject the shortcuts that make gear cheaper but less wearable.

The FlexGuard® Hydro Jeans use DuPont™ Kevlar® stretch denim — CE AAA rated, moves like regular jeans, looks like dark denim. The Blackwatch™ Hybrid Armored Shirt carries CE Level 2 armor in a cut that reads as a premium casual shirt. The Nightfall™ Reflective Armored Hoodie adds retroreflective visibility technology to CE Level 2 armor in a hoodie you'd wear regardless of whether you were riding.

Who We Build It For

Streetbrawl gear is built for riders who use their motorcycles. Not just on weekends, not just on track days — riders who commute, run errands, meet people, and live their lives on two wheels. Riders who need gear that works on the bike and at the destination.

It's also built for riders who care about how they look — not because aesthetics matter more than safety, but because gear you're willing to wear consistently is gear that actually protects you. The best CE rating in the world is worthless if the garment is sitting in a bag.

The Standard We Hold Ourselves To

Our CE ratings are independently tested, not self-declared. Our jeans are certified CE AAA for abrasion; our armor is certified CE Level 2 across the range. We don't use CE certification as a marketing shorthand — we build to the standard and test to verify it. When you buy Streetbrawl gear, you know exactly what protection level you're getting because it's been independently verified.

That's the standard we started with and the standard we'll maintain as the range grows.

What's Next

We're building more. More products, more protection, more options for riders who want certified gear that doesn't compromise on how it looks or how it wears. If you want to follow along, browse the current range and check back — there's more coming.
