RHEON™ ARMOUR Back Protector - CE Level 2

Engineered with RHEON™. Most back protectors force a trade-off: real spinal protection means a stiff, bulky board you feel on every ride. This one doesn't. It uses RHEON™ active polymer to deliver certified CE Level 2 protection in a slim, flexible panel that moves with you.

RHEON™ is an energy-absorbing polymer that stays soft and flexible while you ride, then stiffens the instant it takes an impact — absorbing and dissipating the force before going soft again. You get full-length spinal coverage that bends and flexes naturally, not a rigid plate digging into your back.

What it is

A full-length back protector (Full Back, L/XL) that drops straight into the rear armour pocket of your StreetBrawl jacket or shirt. At 16mm thick and 379g, it adds serious protection without the bulk — upgrading any rear pocket from basic foam to certified CE Level 2.

Why RHEON™ ARMOUR

• Soft until it counts — flexible and unobtrusive at rest, it stiffens dynamically the instant it takes an impact, managing energy exactly where and when it's needed.
• Slim 16mm profile — full spinal coverage without the rigid board or bulk of traditional back protectors.
• Lightweight at 379g — built to feel barely there, so nothing holds back your movement on the bike.
• Breathable — the open-cell structure lets air flow and heat escape for a cooler, more comfortable ride.
• Flexible — moves naturally with your back instead of fighting every shift in position.
• Certified CE Level 2 — independently tested and certified to EN 1621-3:2018, the highest impact rating for back protectors.

Impact protection: RHEON™ — a dynamic, energy-absorbing polymer engineered with RHEON™. Soft and flexible in its natural state, it stiffens on impact to absorb and dissipate energy, then returns to soft.

Construction: Full-length moulded back panel with an open-cell honeycomb structure for breathability and flex. L/XL, 16mm thick, 379g.

No other materials, foams or backers — just RHEON™ polymer.

• Remove the back protector before washing the garment
• Wipe inserts clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; air dry away from direct heat.
• Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean the inserts.
• Store flat, away from prolonged direct sunlight and extreme heat.
• Inspect periodically; replace if cracked, deformed, or after a significant impact.

RHEON™ ARMOUR is independently certified to EN 1621-3:2018 Level 2 — the highest impact-protection level under the European standard for motorcycle back protectors.

EN 1621-3 is the dedicated standard for central back protectors, measuring how much impact force the protector transmits in a controlled strike. Level 2 is the top rating, transmitting less force than Level 1.

This is a Full Back (L/XL) protector engineered with RHEON™ active polymer.

In its natural state the material is soft and pliable, soaking up everyday knocks and bumps. When it's hit with a higher-energy impact, the polymer reacts instantly — stiffening to absorb and spread the load, reducing the shock transferred to your body. The result is protection that's there when you need it and invisible when you don't.

Engineered with RHEON™ — the new standard in rider protection.
